Message from the President - Coach/Manager/Parent Conduct

13 Jun 2018 by Mark Morrow

Hi Coaches and Managers,

Call to Action – Adults being Adults – A message from Chris

To those this doesn’t relate to – keep doing the right thing.

In the past few weeks we have dealt with

- Suspensions (short & long term) relating to abuse of an official (some are very young referees) in Games involving Teams Under 10 years of Age & Up to & including Seniors

- Heated Arguments between Junior Coaches both from the Mustangs Club in front of Children

- Heated Arguments between Junior Coaches both from the Mustangs Club and the visiting Club in front of Children

- People in the capacity of a vested official and or manager not managing their supporter groups and involving themselves is inappropriate conduct/language

- The consumption of alcohol at Non Licensed venues

The Junior Football Association will continue to issue appropriate sanctions

Our Club will now issue appropriate sanctions in addition to the Junior Football Association

Any further offences or issues will be addressed.

Your Voice ….

There are processes managed through the Club should you wish to formally complain about any matter – Just email enquiries@northlakesmustangs.com.au

In Closing….

Game Day – with children present – is not the time or place to criticise referees or air any concerns you have – this is not negotiable

Behaving like an Adult is expected all the time – it’s called being an Adult.

I understand this can be a competitive sport – I understand and respect this fact.

Please respect this communication – Read it – Absorb it

Be Accountable

We have a club to run.

We have a club to enhance

The more time wasted reminding adults to be adults removes precious time to Grow this mighty Club

Cheers
Chris McMahon

President
North Lakes Mustangs FC
